i survived a whole week w/o specs.that's quite a feat.
ate alot ytd.woke up early,around 9.that's really early.that's 3 hours of lost sleep.im getting horrible eyebags,even though i sleep like a pig.is it possible to get eyebags from oversleeping?i think that's the case for me.
let me digress.
i hate riding pickups when my hair is all nice and not tangled-up,cos all you pickup truck virgins,listen up.
if you have long hair,forgodsake,tie it up.it will be alot less tangled up and there will be lesser chances of getting twigs,leaves and other undesirables caught in your hair.dont ever think that your hair will be all nice and windswept because there is NO SUCH THING.unless the driver drives at 10 kmh.
if you are ever stupid enough to let your hair down thinking you will look all glam and model-like with your hair floating around your face,you will end up looking like something the cat brought in,not before mangling and clawing,esp around the hair area.
if you have short hair,forget it,its gona get tangled up anyway.
the best thing is...cover your head!my,how ingenius.
or...dump a whole pot of stronghold wax/gel/spray on your head.
another thing.i have no idea why people love to gawk at people sittin at the back of pickup trucks.what is so fascinating about a few people sitting on a vehicle which is perfectly normal,only w/o a roof at the back?i hate it when people stare and im frantically pushing back my hair which is whipping wildly around my face making me look like some madwoman.
all these sua ku people,never seen pickup truck before is it?
so i went to my aunt's house at bedok.first thing i saw was a dead rat in the drain.
did the odd job here and there,ogled at the guys playing football in the field,mostly listened to my discman.then my cuz's [the one getting engaged] friends came in a procession of really cool,albeit extremely noisy, bikes.
everything about them screamed HAVOC.they had tattoos all over and they smoked alot and they littered alot too.those were the guys.they were wearin t-shirts and jeans like they were going for some casual outing.hello??make some effort lah,your friend's getting engaged here!
the girls were another thing altogether.yeah they smoked too but the things they were wearing...im no fashionista but i do know the meaning of a decent outfit and i do have an idea of what it might look like.
they were wearing tight,see-through kebayas with thigh-high slits and hooker stilettos.not to mention clearly visible bra-straps in all sorts of colours,from black to red.i got a headache looking at them sia.their makeup...i can write on it with my finger man.its that thick.anyway.
went to my other cousin's hse,this time on my dad's side cos she was getting engaged too.had to stand outside for centuries cos there wasnt space to go in.when half the guests left,there was space so we went in.was amazed by the sheer number of cute guys who were my cousin's friends.
how come she's got so many gorgeous friends?there was one who looked like pharell dammit.but...i didnt have my specs so the credibility of that statement is questionable.
the rest of the day went really quickly.me and my cuz[hu's the same age as me] went down for a breather.we came up later than expected cos of some...unexpected hindrances.
that's when i got really pissed off.
you see,i have this uncle who thinks he has every right to poke his nose into everybody's business and get angry at us if we ever did sth to piss his royal ass off.even if that thing is coming back up 5 mins late.i mean,if my parents didnt think it was such a big deal,why should he,right?
so we went in and he was staring at us like we were walking around in bikinis or sth.like we commited some universal sin.wasup with dat?
just cos his son had to come looking for us to tell us to come back up,he had to glare at us like what.he's probly so scared his son might get raped in the lift by an old man deprived of viagra and has a thing for 15 year old boys.
SERIOUSLY.
kindly FUCK OFF old man.your son knows perfectly well how to take care of himself.
he RUINED my whole day man.
