Are my posts really that funny? Hmmm.
Been chatting with my Australian day guest and we are getting along just fine. Wonder what he looks like though. Maybe he's one of those computer geeks with the white pallid skin and bottle glasses. I will lock him up in a cupboard somewhere and just leave him there.
Eh. That rhymes!
What if he turns out really really cute? Like.. like.. Jesse whats-his-surname! Oooh. Floppy hair, big eyes ooooh. I wouldn't mind having him around, definitely.
It's winter over there. How I wish one fateful day, Singapore would have a freak storm and suddenly, snow comes falling down from the sky.
Like fairy tale man!
I really have no idea what to blog about today.
Since we are on the topic of Australia and all that, let me reminisce about my Australian trip last year!
I didn't even pay for it. Yes, it did cause a war of sorts but I aim to relive the experience of being somewhere geographically far from Spore, not relive the bad moments so please, this is all in good nature okay?
And remind yourselves that there are people luckier than me who can afford to go to Australia anytime they want, so aim your vitrole at these people thank you very much.
The most memorable part of the trip was definitely the part when we went to Kangaroo Island. This island is either half the size of Spore or bigger, I can't remember. The ferry ride there is not like the pathetic pussy ferry rides to Sentosa, where the waves gently roll along, but the waves! The waves!
They just slam against the sides of the ferry and the ferry tilts at 45 degree angles to the left and right. I went and stood on deck, and almost pissed in my pants, because it was so cold, and scary! If you weren't holding tight onto something, you would be rolling around the deck and finally, flying off of it into the sea. Literally.
There was this guy who was puking incessantly into a trash can. I laughed at him. And laughed and laughed some more.
His friend was like, " Dude, that chick's laughing at you. "
Or something like that. I couldn't help laughing lah! His face was so greenish and it was so funny.
I never suffer from motion-sickness or sea-sickness so I can laugh lah.
The ferry ride lasted for I-don't-know how long, and at the end of it, my hands were frozen to the metal railings at the side. You know, like Dumb and Dumber, where the guy gets his tongue stuck to the metal ski thing?
Kangaroo Island was simply beautiful.
Seal Bay. This beach with white sand and blue waters and families of seals lying everywhere. Heck pink dolphins! There was this rock cove thing, with a rock arc over a rock pool, and there were seals lying in it. So beautiful!
This rock place. I forgot the name. Amazing Rock? I don't know. What is it with me and rocks, I don't know either. This is the highest point in Kangaroo Island I think, and the wind just pushes you! It's so strong, you can actually lean into the wind and not fall.
And yes, my mum chooses NOW to drag me to a wedding. More blogging... next time!
